This video explains background information on how lava lamps work and the things you may not notice behind your ever day lava lamp. We made lava lamps out of everyday objects and they work just like real lava lamps. Enjoy!

Lava Lamp Lesson!

Hey guys! This video will guide you through the science path and the chemistry behind a lava lamp by enhancing your vocab and knowledge about reactions.

Demonstration of Knowledge

Alka-Seltzer Lava Lamp Lab Explination

In science class we did a Alka-Seltzer Lava Lamp Lab. While we were doing this lab we were asked to make observations about it and then give an explanation on it in a scientific way of what was happening when we did this lab. Hope you enjoy! ~Stefanie W.

We did a science experiment to see the reaction of water, oil, alka seltzer tablet, and food coloring. Watch the video to see the explanation.

How to make your own LAVA LAMP and how it works:)

Image
In science, we made our own lava lamp with just a couple of materials; water, water bottle, food coloring, a funnel, oil and an Alka Seltzer tablet. The oil and water separated and created a suspension which was really cool because the food coloring only mixed in with the water. The Alka Seltzer tablet exploded and created bubbles because of its citric acid. Very cool lab and I highly recommend it!!!

Lava Lamp Lab!

In science, we made a lava lamp lab! This lab allowed us to show our understanding of water and food coloring mixing and oil sitting on top. Then, putting an Alka-Seltzer tablet in and carbon dioxide bubbles appear from combining with this mixture.

Hello! In science class, we did a lab making Alka Seltzer lava lamps. The video down below explains the science behind the lava lamp. Enjoy!

Lava Lamp Lab Explained!!!

In science class, we created a lava lamp using only water, oil, and food coloring. Here is my video explaining how we conducted this experiment and what was involved in the process. Enjoy!

Wondering how lava lamps work? Watch this to have all of your questions answered!

Hi! My name is Rachel and in this video, I am going to explain why things work the way they do. Things work because of different elements of science. People don't take into consideration all of the science, that contributes to why things work. In this lab, we used oil, water, and an Alka Seltzer tablet, to create a reaction, that makes the product look like a lava lamp. Watch the video down below to learn more!

This science experiment allowed us to show our understanding of how we made a lava lamp during science class, using past vocabulary we've learned and the knowledge we have of the outcomes of this experiment.

Alka Seltzer Lab Explanation

In this video, I explained all of the scientific actions within the lab. I also explained each atom and element in the lab. This lab was a fun lab that tested my knowledge!

Lava Lamp Lab Explanation!!

In, science we did a lab where we created a lava lamp out of just water, food coloring and oil. In this video, I explain why the different components of the lava lamp reacted the way they did.

Secret to the Lava Lamp

Image
In our science class, we had a lab which ended up making a lava lamp. This lava lamp was made using water, vegetable oil, food coloring, and an Alka Seltzer Tablet. We also learned the science behind how it worked which is explained in the video!

In 8th grade science, we completed the Lava Lamp lab. In this video, I will explain how the lab works using basic chemistry. I hope you enjoy the video and learn a little bit more about how basic everyday objects work.
