In science class we did a Alka-Seltzer Lava Lamp Lab. While we were doing this lab we were asked to make observations about it and then give an explanation on it in a scientific way of what was happening when we did this lab. Hope you enjoy!

I really loved how direct and easy to understand it was. You really knew your information well, and everything you presented was well organized and the visuals went with the flow of your speaking. How were you able to take this video in only two takes? That's really impressive.
- You did a good job explaining the lab and you did a good job identifying many things about the lab. Do you know how this was an example of a compound, molecule, mixture or other vocabulary?
Nice video, the drawings and your explanations were very easy understand. Maybe next time consider talking a little more about why the alka seltzer was a solute and why the water was a solvent. Now that you've finished the video, would you do anything different?
Hi! My name is Rachel and in this video, I am going to explain why things work the way they do. Things work because of different elements of science. People don't take into consideration all of the science, that contributes to why things work. In this lab, we used oil, water, and an Alka Seltzer tablet, to create a reaction, that makes the product look like a lava lamp. Watch the video down below to learn more!
In 8th grade science, we completed the Lava Lamp lab. In this video, I will explain how the lab works using basic chemistry. I hope you enjoy the video and learn a little bit more about how basic everyday objects work.
